Spring Break in Cancun!

Last week during spring break, I went on my very first tropical vacation to Mexico with my friends! It was truly one of the most amazing trips I’ve ever had. I was able to escape the major snowstorm that hit New York and enjoy beautiful summer weather instead… I’m already missing the ocean breeze and the unlimited pina coladas!

Apple Picking & Hiking!

Last Saturday, I went apple picking for the first time since sophomore year of high school! It was really nice to get away from the city and enjoy some nature, and now I have at least a week’s worth of golden delicious apples sitting in my fridge 🙂

We visited Ochs Orchard in Warwick, NY – and raided the store there, trying out their freshly made apple cider, apple cider donuts, and homemade ice cream (loved the apple pie flavor). I also walked away with some apple chips and apple butter. So. much. apple.

Afterwards, we went hiking in the Appalachian Trail. The crackling leaves and the fresh air were so much better than treading away at my gym on 40th street, and luckily we didn’t get lost!

Summer Trip to Boston!

Summer break is drawing to a close… and before I waste any more time on TV and lounging around in my air conditioned room, I took a trip to Boston with two friends from church. The video is missing parts of the first day when we went kayaking and visited a cafe near MIT to taste some Boston cream pie… but that’s only a fraction of the whole trip because we ended up doing so much more throughout the rest of the trip!

Foodventure in Korea: Trip Across Jeolla Province!

My dad has always been pretty busy with his work; too often our family vacations have been canceled or changed to a closer location. But not this time! Since both my sister and I are studying abroad in the US while my parents are in Korea, we decided that this summer was the chance to set some time aside and embark on a family road trip!

default

We drove from our home in Seoul (see it way up at the top?) down to Jeollanam-do (aka South Jeolla Province), where the different cities within it are rich with character and best of all, LOTS OF DELICIOUS FOOD! My family doesn’t have much association with this particular province (my mom’s side is from Gyeongsangnam-d0/Busan, and my dad’s side takes roots in Gyeongsang buk-do/Daejeon), so most of the things we saw and did on this trip were a first for all four of us.

Without further ado, here’s the video of my trip:

Vlog: Korea Summer 2k16!

OMG! Can you believe that we’re already at the halfway point of 2016? I’m starting my summer internship in NYC in about a week, but I made the decision to fly back home to Seoul for a few weeks before I do. It was awesome to surprise all of my relatives and catch up with friends in Korea! I’m probably gonna upload more detailed posts about the things I’ve done here, as well as reviews about the different products I’ve been trying or have purchased. But in the meantime, I wanted to share with you the first two parts of my stay here so far… As always, shopping around, eating amazing food, and enjoying the hot summer weather in different spots of the city is super fun.

Cape May Vlog

Here’s a video about my short trip to Cape May, NJ. Now that I’m back in the hustle and bustle of the city, this experience already feels like a dream!

(I APOLOGIZE FOR THE SHAKINESS!!)

I’ve been trying to vlog more while I have the time. I’m leaving for Seoul tomorrow, so I’m pretty stoked to explore Korea with my camera in hand!

Lisbon Vlog

Hey guys! I wanted to share with you a snapshot of my spring break trip to Portugal that I finally put together. (Of course, the only time I decide I should work on this video is when I have to study for finals)
