Summer in New York City is prime time for a variety of food fairs and flea markets – and Smorgasburg has always been on top of the list. The last time I was at Smorgasburg was over a year ago when I was dying to try the famous ramen burger; I revisited today and had an amazing chow.
We took the L train from Manhattan to the Williamsburg Flea location. The weather was nice and sunny – it did get a little TOO sunny towards noon onward… definitely getting a good tan! Anyways, here are all the things we stuffed ourselves with!
We started with some protein – beef short ribs and lamb from Carnal! It was so deliciously satisfying, especially with the toppings.
Mango sticky rice from Bamboo Bites
Interesting creation from La Newyorkina – salty, sweet, and spicy at the same time!
Pina Colada Smoothie
The Goodwich ice cream sandwich from the Good Batch – soo good! (Although I should have eaten it more quickly before it started melting under the scorching sun)
We ate and ate to our hearts content. I recommend getting there close to opening time, since the crowd gets a little hard to handle later in the day.
